Pepco Energy Services, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Pepco Holdings, Inc. (PHI) is a rapidly growing provider of energy saving solutions such as, Energy Performance Contracting, Thermal Energy Solutions, Electricity Generation and Renewable Energy.  We partner with industrial, commercial, educational, health care, and local, state and federal governments to reduce their energy consumption and expenses. Our Energy Services Group is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Construction team.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage multiple large projects from sales support, proposal preparation, construction administration and start up while meeting cost and schedule objectives 
• Ensure that the projects meet long-term energy performance guarantees
• Develop constructive and long lasting relationships with subcontractors and customers Develop and lead effective teams
• Supervise project managers and support the Vice President of Construction’s corporate objectives including development of procedures and practices consistent with the construction industry.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or commensurate progressive experience in mechanical contracting and/or energy services contracting
• 15 years progressively responsible experience in the project/construction management of projects from $500,000 to $10,000,000
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large design/build energy conservation projects up to and including cogeneration projects
• Ability to work throughout the Eastern United States
• Contracting experience with local, state, federal government and large academic institutions would be beneficial
• Proficeint in MS Project and MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
